Young residents of Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek are zoned for high-achieving schools in Lamar CISD. According to the 2017 state accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency, Fulshear High School, Leaman Junior High and Huggins Elementary each scored higher than the targeted score for every index evaluated.
The 2017 ratings are based on a system that uses a range of indicators to provide greater detail about the performance of a district or charter and individual campuses throughout the state. In addition to the ratings, distinction designations were awarded to campuses based on achievement on performance indicators compared to a group of 40 campuses of similar type, size and student demographics.
We are even more proud to share that Fulshear High School earned a Distinction Designation for academic achievement in mathematics. A campus that earns a distinction designation if it is in the top quartile (Q1) of its comparison group for at least 33 percent (for high schools and K–12 campuses) or 50 percent (for elementary and middle schools) of the indicators used to award the distinction.
As a resident, your children have access to an exceptional education within the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. With more than 75 percent of its schools rated in the state’s top tier, LCISD has earned “Recognized” distinction by the Texas Education Agency.
