Welcome! As residents of Fulshear you and your family are a members of the award-winning Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (Lamar CISD). It provides a quality public Pre-K through grade 12 education to over 28,600 students enrolled in 40 different schools. Because Lamar CISD puts students first, their campuses intentionally have smaller enrollments. This allows greater opportunity for students to experience leadership roles and participate in a wide variety of activities offered at each site.

2017 Highlights:

• Dr. Thomas Randle named Region 4 Superintendent of the Year
• In July, Leadership High School welcomed 60 incoming Lamar CISD tenth-grade students, representing each high school. They will learn valuable lessons about what it takes to be a leader on their campuses and also in their communities.
• Lamar CISD maintains one of the lowest tax rates in the Houston area
